A Radical Prostate Treatment That Took Ron Bazar to China

The “3D Prostate Treatment”

In the middle of China, an hour and 45 minute flight inland from Shanghai to the small city of Xiangtan (pop:~2-3 million), is a small prostate clinic run by whom I consider the best urologist in the world.

Dr. Song regularly cures complex cases of prostatitis, enlarged prostate, and lately prostate cancer. He uses targeted precision injections directly into the prostate of pharmaceutical grade traditional Chinese medicines as well as western antibiotics. No surgery, no chemo, and no side effects. Dr. Song has researched and developed his unique proprietary 3D Prostate Targeted Treatment, in which he holds all the independent intellectual property rights.

His process is radical, not liked by the western-oriented Chinese urology doctors – and I am sure their counterparts in the west if they read about his successes. He doesn’t publish or look for peer reviews. But patients come from all over the world to his clinic, many at wits-end after trying many other procedures without success.

He does this by first undergoing a complete review of past and current conditions and treatments of each patient. He then does a thorough examination of the testicles, the epididymis, and the prostate gland. He then extracts a few drops of prostate fluid to examine it in his small laboratory where he can see the pathogens. This procedure is almost never done by western urologists which in my opinion is negligence because you cannot diagnose properly without this form of testing.

Next he sends you to the hospital for blood testing including the most advanced blood work to test for over 20 different viruses. The Chinese are the world leaders in this diagnosis. Try getting that done in the U.S.!

Depending on your situation and if you don’t have your own ultrasound, Dr Song may order an ultrasound test also and possibly a CT scan if needed. All these procedures are quite inexpensive totaling in the range of hundreds of dollars only.

He then can customize the patient’s medical treatment which consists of 2 injections daily with ultra thin needles directly into the prostate gland. The treatment time runs for most patients from 4 -6 weeks, and only in very complex cases does it require follow-up visits.

My Personal Story and Experience

Three years ago in January 2015, I had a Prostate Artery Embolization (PAE) procedure in Portugal by the founder to treat my extremely enlarged prostate. I had been quite excited by it and hopeful after returning home.

But as time went on I found that my symptoms had not improved and by January 2016 I was desperate for another solution. I found out about the 3D Prostate Clinic in China. The injections into the prostate of targeted precision medicines appealed to me and I went there in late February and began the treatment. I had remarkable improvement but given that I was one of the most complex cases he had ever seen, further treatment would be needed in my case.

Because of my prior PAE and the ensuing reduced blood flow, I was unable to discharge enough particles to remove the debris created by the treatments. My blood flow into my prostate had been reduced drastically and thus I was unable to keep pace with the treatments.

Most patients who have not had their prostate interfered with previously in this way (a PAE) are able to discharge much bigger volumes of particles in their urine when collected into a bottle, thus reducing their symptoms much more quickly.

Knowing what I know now, I would never do a PAE, even if some improvement can be had. I believe the restriction of blood flow and the ensuing lack of flushing out the prostate leads to further prostate complications and health issues over time. I have had men write me about this issue. I realize now that good blood flow is essential to prostate health.

It is difficult for me to completely criticize the procedure because of how close a relationship I had developed with the founder of PAE. He is a humble and dedicated doctor who believes in his procedure to help men with the PAE.

But the insights of Dr. Song at the 3D Prostate Clinic are way more advanced and helpful. As you will see from my medical report below, the western notion of 3 separate prostate conditions are not how he sees the prostate. In my case, prostatitis infections are what first began for me followed by BPH. He first treated the infections and then went to work on the BPH nodules. My prostate was over 220 grams (11 times normal size)!

I have been back several times and each time I get more improvement, but it is slow because of my much reduced blood flow from the PAE, so I only discharge small amounts of particles in my urine from the medicine that breaks up the BPH.

My Initial Examination Results

Here are my initial examination results based on Dr Song’s notes:

1) Prostate Fluid Examination: WBC (+++/hp)。

2) Bacteria Culture: Staphylococcus Aureus

3) Digital Rectal Examination: the volume of his swollen prostate was alike the fist with obscure prostate border and outline and disappearing central sulcus. The texture of his prostate was harder with obvious pressing pain.

4) Blood test: PSA 19.390ng/ml, testosterone 7.36nmo/L

5) Virus Examination: Rubella virus – positive; EB virus – positive; Herpes Simplex Type-1 virus–positive; Cytomegalovirus –positive;

6) Ultrasound Results: Prostatitis, Enlarged Prostate, BPH, Prostate Volume 228cc, Cysts of Kidneys.

And My Examination Results after Treatment

1) Prostate Fluid Examination: WBC (0/hp)

2) Bacteria Culture: No growth of bacteria

3) Digital Rectal Examination: the prostate has shrunk significantly with clear border and outline, and the central sulcus can be touched with soften texture and unapparent pressing pain.

4) Type-14 catheter can smoothly enter bladder, and there is no any obstruction when passing through the urethral prostate

My Treatment Process

My main treatment involved a local injection with cefotaxime sodium and amikacin for prostate bacterial infection for 25 days. Local injection with ribavirin for prostate virus infection for 15 days, local injection with Chinese herbal medicines for treating the enlarged prostate, BPH and prostate blockage for 50 days.

The injections can hurt a bit but lasts for about a minute each, mostly at the beginning of the treatment program if the prostate is really infected. No one complains that it is extreme in any way at all. It is more like uncomfortable with moments of slight pain. The best thing is to breathe slowly in and out through the nose to help relax. It is completely manageable. No anesthesia is needed.

Other treatment included intravenous drip: intravenous drip with acyclovir, ribavirin, IL-2, and some Chinese medicines against virus for 15 days. Rectal filling with Chinese herbal extracts for 10 days to improve immunity and endocrine function.

From Dr. Song’s Notes

“Fifty days’ of treatment later, examinations of the prostate fluid has not found infections, and the bacterial culture turns to negative. The volume of his prostate has shrunk significantly and his enlarged prostate has decreased to Degree II. His prostate has become soft with unapparent pressing pain in the prostate and the improvement rate of blockage is more than 50%. His urination function has improved significantly, that is, no difficulty in urination has appeared, but frequent urination at night is still obvious. His overall condition has great improved”.

PSA (Standard Reference Value below <4 ng/ml): before: 19.39 ng/mL; after, 1.75 ng/mL

Blood Testosterone (Range 14-25.5nmo/L): before: 7.36 nmo/L; after, 15.8 nmo/L

Over my visits there I have seen many complex patients get marked improvement. In the past 2 years he has actually been curing prostate cancer. I have seen the medical reports of several of them and have been there while they were being treated and have talked with the men. Quite remarkable including a stage 3 man from Australia cured after 4 weeks. Testimonials are on the website.

The clinic is not for everyone due to the cost and no insurance coverage, the time needed away from home, and the fact that it can only be done in China It is not something that will be done by western trained urologists. It takes time and skill, and Dr. Song is an avid researcher always improving his work.
